Muskoka Leisure Docks - Floating Docks

Leisure Series floating docks are a highly modular and can be configured to almost any shape or size using 4’x10’ sections and ultimate floating dock ramps. They are light enough to carry out of the water if one chooses in the winter yet tough enough to withstand any normal floating dock conditions. Ultimate docks come in a kit form that is easy to pick- up, assemble and install. They can be re-configured or expanded at any time with ease. Joints between sections are almost seamless and incorporate strong and silent innovative rubber connections.

Leusire Series floating docks accept all types of mooring cleats, mooring whips, electrical conduits and ladders by utilizing a special cedar backing plate system. Ultimate floating docks can be connected securely to any type of shoreline utilizing a variety of available shore connection and anchoring hardware.

Typically, these docks work best where leg docks are no longer feasible to use, due to excessive water depth or extreme water fluctuation. Rough water installations will cause the dock to wear prematurely and are not recommended. Proper installation is imperative. They must be anchored securely to the shoreline and in the water. The dock is hinged to shore using a “floating dock ramp”. The ramp holds the dock out from shore and compensates for water fluctuations. It is attached at one end to the shore hinges and the other to the floating dock. The dock also requires multiple sets of concrete stacking disk anchors attached with a unique shock absorbing mooring line to hold the dock in place.

Winter maintenance requires you to simply remove the ramp from the dock leaving the dock free to float on its anchor chains. Or it can easily be removed and placed on shore in modules.
